The Purpose of Therapy is...

To Make Positive Change!

About

About Me

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Psychodramatist offering individual and group therapy through

Here & Now LLC in Franklin, MA. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression, grief, addiction, trauma, and LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy in a compassionate environment.

My approach integrates Psychodrama, a powerful experiential therapy, with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients reduce symptoms, recognize patterns, and challenge negative core beliefs. These methods work together to create a safe, engaging, and often joyful pathway toward healing and growth.

Whether you’re seeking to make meaningful change, find purpose, strengthen relationships, or simply move forward, I’m here to support you. I offer both virtual and in-person sessions and welcome individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and cultural backgrounds.

Throughout my life, I’ve taken on many roles; counselor, group therapist, expressive arts therapist, college professor, stage director, producer, lawyer, mentor, sponsor, and husband. Each of these roles informs my counseling practice and deepens my empathy and understanding.

I believe that every person holds within them the wisdom to heal and grow, sometimes we just need the right support to uncover it. Let’s work together to create the positive change you seek.

Treatment

I help individuals overcome personal challenges and lead full and healthy lives. While providing an environment of empathy and acceptance, I facilitate clients' efforts to look inward and develop insight into whatever obstacles they may be facing.

Intensive therapy sessions offer more time to work toward therapeutic goals. Sometimes a weekly hour-long session is not enough to work through deep emotional issues or traumatic experiences.  Intensive Therapy is customized and based on specific goals and needs.

One powerful healing path forward is to meet with others who share similar experiences. A facilitated group process can assist in bringing new meaning and  foster the learning of new skills.  My groups create safety and support deep personal growth.
